Edyn’s 300+ employees operate and manage over 1200+ serviced apartments in cities across the UK and beyond to Europe. But their outsourced Payroll was taking too long to complete, leaving very little room for amendments, which meant time was often wasted on backdated changes.
They selected xcd’s single solution HR & Payroll system because it would automate key administrative processes, improve employee self-service experience and, crucially, allow them to regain in-house control of their Payroll.
This was a complex project with an ambitious schedule, but close collaborative working between the Edyn team and xcd implementation specialists meant Core HR & Payroll functions were up and running in a matter of months, alongside several additional key modules like Timesheets, Overtime, Performance and Salary Review.
Since the system went live in, its self-service functionality and improved user experience for Edyn’s workforce has dramatically reduced their HR team’s administrative workload by over 30 hours a month.
And in-house control of Payroll has made it far simpler for Edyn to catch last minute changes and eliminate back-dated corrections, reducing the time spent processing Payroll by a week every month.
