Sales Development Representative (SDR) - HR & Recruitment Tech

We are seeking an experienced and results driven SDR to join our team and focus on driving outbound lead generation and revenue growth.

Job Summary

As a SDR at XCD, you will report to the SDR Manager and play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base in the HR and Recruitment technology space. You will work closely with the Sales and Pre-Sales team to achieve your activity and meeting quotas.

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Work Location: London/Bristol/Remote, UK


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective outbound lead generation strategies to achieve Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Be comfortable using multiple methods of outreach including telephone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Identify new market opportunities and create territory plans.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Work towards KPIs including quarterly SQL quotas and working with your assigned Senior Sales Executive.
  • Understand prospect needs and tailor messaging and services to meet those needs.
  • Convey product value and benefits effectively to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective promotional strategies.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and customer interactions.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an SDR role for a SaaS company.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience meeting daily and weekly KPI’s
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in British English.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience with Cloud based HR / Recruitment / ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions.
  • An understanding of HR, Payroll, and Recruitment software solutions.
  • Experience with using Salesforce.
  • Experience with using Outreach or similar tools.
  • A substantial network of HR, Payroll, and Recruitment contacts.
