Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Salesforce Developer who is passionate about coding and eager to learn and grow within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Salesforce development and a desire to contribute to the successful delivery of our product roadmap. This role offers the opportunity to work with a team of experienced developers, participate in various stages of the development lifecycle, and gain valuable hands-on experience in Salesforce technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Components, Flow and other relevant technologies.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure high-quality code delivery.
  • Work closely with senior developers and architects to learn and apply advanced Salesforce development concepts.
  • Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and system architecture.

Skills required

What you’ll need:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform fundamentals and development best practices.
  • Proficiency in Apex and custom Lightning Components.
  • Familiarity with declarative development tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Validation Rules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I) is a plus.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Work Location: Home Based / Remote and requirement for frequent face to face meetings with colleagues (Bristol, Basingstoke or other appropriate locations)
Reporting To: Development Team Lead
